Flora

Flora joined the Latherhouse team in 2026, bringing with her over three decades of experience in the beauty industry and a deeply rooted passion for helping people feel seen, expressed, and confident. Her journey began in 1995 as a licensed nail technician, later expanding into cosmetology in 2010 after graduating from Regency Beauty School. Over the years, she has worn many hats—stylist, salon manager, makeup artist—and has built a career grounded in both technical skill and genuine human connection.

Flora is a color specialist and loctician, with expertise in locs, dreadlocks, vivid color, extensions, and alternative styles. She welcomes all hair textures and thrives in creating looks that are expressive, intentional, and uniquely tailored to each guest. Whether she’s crafting vibrant, dimensional color or maintaining and designing locs, her work is guided by creativity, precision, and care.

Her approach is rooted in listening—taking the time to understand each client’s vision, lifestyle, and goals—while creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where guests feel at ease. With over 20 years behind the chair and certifications including Babe Hair Extensions, Flora continues to evolve her craft while staying true to what matters most: making sure every client leaves feeling fully satisfied and confident.

Outside of the salon, Flora embraces a lifestyle that reflects her personal style—part hippie, part goth, part mountain soul. She enjoys camping with her family, hiking with her dog Winter, practicing yoga, reading, dancing, and connecting with music and nature. She also has a deep interest in spiritual and esoteric practices, including tarot, energy work, numerology, and crystals, which influence her grounded and intuitive approach to life and artistry.

Flora looks forward to welcoming you into her chair and creating a look that feels aligned, expressive, and completely your own.
