Marko joined the Latherhouse team in 2026, bringing with him a passion for artistry, technical excellence, and continuous education. Originally from Skopje, North Macedonia, he chose Latherhouse because of its collaborative culture, commitment to transparency, and belief that education is the foundation of exceptional guest experiences.

After graduating from Emily Griffith Technical College, one of Colorado's longest-standing cosmetology programs, Marko quickly distinguished himself through his dedication to mastering the technical side of hairdressing. During his career in Denver, he completed the prestigious apprenticeship program at The Parlour, rapidly advanced through multiple stylist levels, and became part of the founding team at Onyx & Co., where he helped establish the salon's luxury guest experience and technical standards.

Marko specializes in advanced color, precision cutting, dimensional blonding, lived-in brunettes, major transformations, and color correction. He also enjoys keratin smoothing treatments, perms, and customized extension services, holding certification in Bello Haven weft, sewn-in, and tape-in extensions. Whether creating a subtle enhancement or a dramatic transformation, his goal is always the same: healthy, beautiful hair that complements each client's lifestyle and individuality.

His approach begins with consultation. Marko believes the conversation before the service is the most important part of the appointment, taking time to understand each guest's vision, expectations, and maintenance preferences before developing a personalized plan. Combining technical precision with honest communication, he creates results that are both beautiful and realistic, believing that trust is the foundation of every lasting client relationship.

Marko has invested heavily in advanced education throughout his career. His professional training includes Wella Advanced Color, Schwarzkopf BlondMe and Color Basics, Reuzel Classic Haircutting, Kérastase Curl Cutting, R+Co Regional Educator Training, Bello Haven Extension Certification, and advanced education with luxury brands including Oribe, Unite, Kérastase, and Wella. His commitment to learning allows him to stay at the forefront of modern techniques while continually refining his craft.

Before pursuing cosmetology, Marko studied architecture, an experience that continues to influence his work today. His appreciation for balance, structure, proportion, and design is evident in every haircut and color formula he creates. He also holds a degree in Corporate Communication and Public Relations, giving him a unique ability to connect with guests through thoughtful consultation and exceptional service.

Outside of the salon, Marko finds inspiration in nature, where shifting landscapes, light, and color influence his creative perspective. He enjoys cooking for friends and family, dancing, traveling, and exploring new experiences that continue to fuel his artistry.
